Cave Painting Art – Inspired by the Lascaux Caves in France
Lately I can’t get enough of cave painting art, especially the delicate paintings of the Lascaux Cave in France. The paintings were discovered in 1940 are estimated to be 20,000 years old. The images are thought to be ceremonial and include 2,000 figures of animals, humans and abstracts. Here are some of my latest creations, which pale in comparison, but I really enjoy the connection I feel to tribal ancestors while I’m creating these artworks.
