During a recent trip to Mexico I was very inspired by the beautiful natural patterns of the beach and tropical forest. I’m drawn toward repeated patterns in art and nature. Perhaps it’s the comfort and reliability of something beautiful occurring over and over again. There is a slower rhythmic pace in Mexico. It’s warm and humid so things and people move at a slow and easy pace. It was wonderful to have the time to stop and notice these intriguing patterns that presented themselves in shells, rocks, and seeds. Here are some of the many photos I took as I discovered a new hobby of looking for patterns everywhere! Time well spent.
